Monsoon has already set in some parts of the country but still we can feel the scorching heat of the sun at daytime. The months from May to July is a very tricky time when it comes to skincare. Most of the time it happens that we prefer to stay indoors in order to avoid the scorching heat. Also, the spaces we stay in are mostly air-conditioned. This leads to drying of the skin, presenting a need for restoration of moisture content. Generally, we all try to avoid applying oils to our skin during summers due to it becoming sticky. But, if an appropriate amount is applied, there’s no fear of your skin becoming oily or greasy. is light in consistency, non-greasy and gets easily absorbed in your skin. If you are staying in, you may apply Coconut Oil during bedtime and take a shower the following morning. Avocado Oil works well to keep your skin nicely moisturised and safe from the sun. If you have oily skin in general, you may add 4-5 drops of Soulflower Lavender Essential Oil
to the base oil and apply.
