India is known as the 'land of colours'. Anywhere you go, the dominance and vibrance of colours is noticeable and in the same way unmatched. The smooth juxtaposition of colours cannot be seen anywhere in the world, the way we Indians do.
There is yet another interesting psychology about colours and even though it's nowhere related to Navratri, we would still like to put forward. If you wish to find five objects of the same colour, say green or red in your immediate surroundings, it is believed that you would find it. It might seem weird and impossible when you first start to look for it, but you would be astonished at the fact that you can actually pick out objects with the same colour and that too just all around you. Just a fun game but try doing it and let us know in comments?
Also, today's Navratri colour is Peacock Green, quite an unusual one. Worshipped as Gauri, the colour represents all the wishes that get fulfilled.
