You want that glowing, healthy, and clear skin despite all the challenges that come with this changing season, so here is how you can make this transition easier for the summers–
SPF IS THE KEY: You cannot leave home without covering all exposed areas of skin with sunscreen. Indian summers call for a broad-spectrum sunscreen of 40 SPF or more. Cover your face, neck, ears, hands, feet, lips, and arms with sunscreen. Apply 20 minutes before going out in the sun & Re-apply every 3-4 hours. Remember that sunscreen goes on last in your skincare routine. The thumb rule is a teaspoon per limb.

Lighter CTM: Cleansing-toning-moisturise routine is a must no matter what the weather is but in summers, make sure that the products you use are lighter. Swap the heavy cleanser for a lighter gel, foaming or water-based one, a toner to a light hydrating one, and the moisturiser should be light and cooling.

Take shorter showers: It is tempting to stand under the cool shower for a long time and take multiple showers during the day, however, you must limit the shower time. Being under the shower for too long will strip the skin of its natural moisture, making it dry & flaky.
Vegetable oils in the soaps penetrate pores and provide clean skin while delivering nutrients deep into the skin leaving it moisturised, softened, and refreshed.
